41. A KHANJAR DAGGER WITH IVORY GRIP, INDOPERSIAN, 18TH – 19TH CENTURY

Origin: Indopersia, 18th - 19th century.

Length – 27,3 cm, blade – 16,6 cm.

Blade: curved double edged blade with a central ridge.

Hilt: iron guard with a knuckle bow, iron handle with ivory grip plates – three on each side, each riveted with two rivets with rosettes.

Scabbard: absent.

Condition report: blade with pitting, spots of patina and rust, scratches, dents. Iron guard as well. Ivory with patina, some cracks, scratches.
